Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience

Training: 4 hours of relevant training



Education: Graduate of communication related courses (Mass Communication, Communication Arts, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Development Communication, Multimedia Arts)

Experience: At least 1 year experience in writing, designing and managing content and campaign in social media

Training: At least 8 hours of training in any of the following:

  • Development of advocacy and Information, Education, Communication (IEC) Materials
  • Social Media Marketing
  • E-media campaign development
  • Social media writing
  • E-advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Online promotions and publicity (PR)




  1. Expertise in layout and designing infographics and animation using Adobe products (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, etc.) and other design software/products
  2. Ability to write creatively and popularize technical reports and documents for social media use
  3. Knowledgeable in video editing using Adobe products (Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effect, etc.) ad other editing software/products
  4. Ability to coordinate and build relationship with clienteles and suppliers

Communication Skills

Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Media Production Division, the qualified applicant shall perform the following functions:

Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Writes textual content for social media (video features, advertising copy, FAQs, e-campaign materials, etc.);
  2. Edits AVPs and other video materials for viral campaign;
  3. Creates infographics and animation for social media;
  4. Monitors the content of all offices, bureaus, services and units (OBSUs), and all fiend offices' (FO) websites and social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, etc.) to ensure consistent messaging, approach and techniques;
  5. Prepares the monthly DSWD website monitoring report;
  6. Manages bloggers and Twitter outreach to support other digital activities and/or events;
  7. Assists the management of audio and video uploads and channels;
  8. Assists the preparation of project proposals and terms of reference; and
  9. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Division Chief and Director of Social Marketing Service (SMS).
